Pachuca is one of Mexico's deep-rooted and most successful clubs in continental competitions, having qualified for the tournament as the champion of CONCACAF Champions League. The club is known for its focus on developing young talent and is currently undergoing a technical change. The Mexican club recently announced the appointment of coach Jaime Lozano, succeeding Uruguayan Guillermo Almada. This match is part of Group 8, which also includes Real Madrid and Red Bull Salzburg.
