The Board of Directors of Al-Hilal Club Company has strengthened the club's football management by contracting a specialized sports administration team that includes highly qualified and experienced professionals in various fields. This step is part of the club's development plans aimed at enhancing the efficiency of its sporting operations, improving sporting performance, strengthening integration between different departments, and supporting administrative work to achieve the club's objectives and continue competing for domestic, continental, and international championships.
This contracting comes in implementing Al-Hilal's development projects, in accordance with an institutional vision that aims to build an integrated and sustainable sports system that supports the club's ambitions and the aspirations of its fans, in which the recent period witnessed numerous sporting matters and their alignment with the club's strategies and future plans, ensuring the readiness of the club's sports system and supporting the demands of the first football team.
Simon Francis began his duties as the Technical Director of Football at Al-Hilal Club, after a career in which he progressed as a player at the English club Bournemouth for 15 years, before taking on a number of technical sports tasks, then taking over the leadership of sports strategies and recruitment and development plans at the same club, and contributing to the club’s transformation journey in a highly competitive and rapidly growing environment.
The new sporting management team, whose contracts were signed by the board of directors, includes a number of administrative positions including Director of Recruitment, Director of Scouting, Senior Technical Scout, and Operations Manager who will be responsible for implementing the club's sports strategy and overseeing a number of development files aimed at enhancing the efficiency of sports work from an integrated perspective, within the framework of developing the club's football system that will be completed according to the approved plan, and its updates will be announced in due course.
