after defeating Al-Kholood 2-1 in the final match held on Friday evening at Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
Nasser Al-Dawsari opened the scoring for Al-Hilal in the 42 minute, before Theo Hernandez added the second goal in 45+2 minute.
Head coach Simone Inzaghi started the final with the following lineup: Yassine Bounou, Hassan Tambakti, Moteb Al-Harbi, Theo Hernandez, Nasser Al-Dawsari, Ruben Neves, Mohammed Kanno, Sergej Savic, Salem Al-Dawsari, Malcom Felipe, and Karim Benzema.
During the second half, Inzaghi introduced the substitutes Ali Lajami, Abdulkarim Darsi, Marcos Leonardo, Sultan Mandash, and Yusuf Akçiçek.
Al-Hilal began its journey toward the title with a 1-0 victory over Al-Adalah in the Round of 32, before defeating Al-Okhdood by the same scoreline in the Round of 16. The team then overcame Al-Fateh 4-1 in the quarterfinals, and defeated Al-Ahli on penalties in the semifinal following a 1-1 draw after regular and extra time, before overcoming Al-Kholood in the final of the Kingdom’s most prestigious cup competition.
This title marks the 91st trophy in Al-Hilal’s golden history, while also representing the club’s 10th title in the competition. Al-Hilal previously won the tournament in 1980, 1982, 1984, 1989, 2015, 2017, 2020, 2023, 2024, and 2026.
Al-Hilal will next face Al-Nassr on Tuesday, May 12, in Round 32 of the Roshn Saudi League.
