Al-Hilal's first football team defeated South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0 in a friendly match held this Friday evening at Obperbuch Stadium in Austria, as part of the preparatory program for the upcoming sporting season.

Al-Hilal player Malcom opened the scoring in the 8th minute and added a second goal in the 61st minute.

Head coach Simone Inzaghi started the match with a lineup featuring: Mohammed Al-Yami, Yusuf, Ali Lajami, Moteb Al-Harbi, Mishal Al-Dawood, Malcom Filipe, Nasser Al-Dawsari, Sergej Savić, Mohammed Kanno, Sabri Dahl, and Karim Benzema.

The match also saw participation from: Mohammed Al-Owais, Rayan Al-Ghamdi, Sultan Mandash, Saad Al-Mutairi, Saud Haroon, Mohammed Meite, Abdullah Al-Anzi, Saimon Bouabre, Suhaib Al-Zaid, Darwin Núñez, and Murad Al-Hawsawi, in the second half of play.
