The signing ceremony took place today Thursday afternoon at Kingdom Arena Stadium in Riyadh. The club was represented at the signing ceremony by the CEO Esteve Calzada, along with CEO of Haier Middle East and Africa, Li Dapeng. The agreement was attended by several members of both parties, in addition to domestic and international media.

Al Hilal Club CEO Esteve Calzada emphasized that Al Hilal's global position, which has grown for its impressive success in various tournaments, has contributed to its brand becoming attractive to major international companies across various sectors. He expressed his happiness at signing the sponsorship agreement with Haier, one of the world's largest brands in the field of smart houshold appliances, thanks to its research and development centers, 35 industrial complexes, and 136 factories, which have contributed to its brand reaching more than 200 countries. He said that this sponsorship will serve both brands through the interaction of the spirit of sports and excellence in all aspects of modern life.

Haier’s Middle East and Africa CEO Li Dapeng pointed out that the sponsorship agreement with Al-Hilal Club comes due to the position of Al-Hilal as the most famous football club in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and enjoys a wide fan base that reflects the spirit of football. He pointed out that the sponsorship carries a dual significance for both parties, as it will enhance awareness of the Haier brand in the Kingdom by providing high-quality household appliance products to more users, in addition to contributing to spreading the football spirit represented by Al-Hilal on a wider scale in every home in the Kingdom. He explained that Haier’s presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over the past two decades has contributed to the development of a number of products specifically designed for the local usage environment, such as air conditioners and refrigerators, to suit local temperatures.
