Inzaghi continued: "We faced a strong opponent, a team that had won all three of their previous matches in the Asian tournament. However, our players performed exceptionally well and took control of the game. This victory is a positive step for us, especially heading into the upcoming break."

Regarding individual performances, Inzaghi praised the team’s overall level of play, adding that substituting Sabri Dahal was made after he received a yellow card, as a precautionary measure to avoid the risk of him being sent off. Inzaghi highlighted Dahal’s impressive technical potential and wished him continued success.

Addressing tactical changes, Inzaghi explained that the congested fixture schedule and overlapping competitions led to several changes to the lineup. He expressed his contentment with the players' performance and the spirit they show on the pitch.

He added: "We have recently made a great effort, despite dealing with several absences, most notably Salem Al-Dawsari, Gabriel Martinelli, and Crysencio Summerville which required us to make changes to the squad. We are also continuously working on developing our technical aspects, including set pieces."

Regarding the upcoming period, he stated: "We will utilize the break to prepare for our next matches, and we hope that the injured players will regain their fitness before the competitions resume."

For his part, English player Ollie Watkins expressed his happiness at being with Al-Hilal. He emphasized that, since joining the team, he has been keen to build strong relationships with his teammates and the coaching staff, while also striving to consistently deliver his best to bring joy to Al-Hilal fans.

Commenting on the victory, Watkins said: "We played an excellent match against a strong opponent and managed to secure an important win before the break. I am pleased with the team's performance, and we dedicate this victory to the Al-Hilal supporters."

These remarks were made during the press conference held following the match between Al-Hilal and Shabab Al-Ahli, on Tuesday evening at Kingdom Arena, within the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite.
