Calzada stated: “Our strategic goal has two pillars: the first is to strengthen the club’s revenues to ensure financial stability that allows us to invest in attracting the best players worldwide. The second is to expand Al-Hilal’s brand presence globally.”

He added: “In recent months, we announced partnerships with leading brands such as Honor and Nescafé. Today, Haier joins as a sponsor, and this will give Al-Hilal’s brand even greater exposure.”

Calzada emphasized that Haier is a global company with revenues exceeding USD 54 billion, and the largest in its field. He continued:

“We are very proud and excited about this sponsorship, which aligns with our strategy. Haier will place our brand in numerous distribution points worldwide, which will also help us continue attracting the best companies globally.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Li Dapeng, CEO of Haier for the Middle East and Africa, affirmed that the new partnership will strengthen the power of both leading brands in their respective industries. He explained that the cooperation is built on three main reasons:

“First, there is a strong alignment between Haier and Al-Hilal. Al-Hilal is a prestigious club with a massive fan base not only in the Kingdom, but across the Middle East and globally. We believe this partnership will strengthen both brands and establish a new stage of presence in the minds of the public.

The second reason lies in Haier’s commitment to meeting the needs of the Saudi market. We recently launched a range of products designed specifically for the local environment, such as air conditioners developed with advanced technologies to withstand the Kingdom’s high temperatures. We look forward to meeting the needs of the Saudi market and strengthening both brands.

The third reason is that this collaboration will impact youth, introducing them to Haier and deepening their connection with the brand. It will also enable us to leverage Al-Hilal’s strength and massive fan base.”

Li concluded by stressing that this event will enhance Haier’s brand, increase its recognition among users, and that Haier will continue to cover future activities to boost user engagement and intensify its marketing efforts.

“We will remain committed to providing high-quality products to football fans, encourage the use of our products among this fan base, and continue investing in innovative product development to expand our competitive advantage.”
