Regarding the physical condition of several players, Inzaghi explained that team captain Salem Al-Dawsari still needs some time to return, while Ali Lajami's injury will be assessed. He expressed his hope for Lajami's speedy return to the group, noting that Theo Hernandez felt some pain and will be monitored by the medical staff.
Inzaghi commented about the participation of English striker Ollie Watkins, saying, “He trained with us and integrated well with the group, and I decided to bring him on at the start of the second half, replacing Mohamed Meïté after he got a yellow card.”
The coach praised the performance of Sultan Mandash and Crysencio Summerville, emphasizing their outstanding contributions to the team. He added, “Mandash is performing at a high level, and we have upcoming matches in various competitions, so we need all the players in the coming period.”
Regarding Al-Hilal fans and chanting his name during the match, Inzaghi said, “I am very happy and proud that the fans chanted my name. We enjoyed the match and their attendance and support for the team.”
