Al-Hilal took the lead through an own goal in the 41st minute, followed by Marcos Leonardo adding the second goal in the 57th minute.
Inzaghi started the match with the following lineup: Yassine Bounou, Kalidou Koulibaly, Hassan Tambakti, Theo Hernandez, Hamad Al-Yami, Ruben Neves, Nasser Al-Dossari, Sergej Savic, Malcom Oliveira, Marcos Leonardo, and Darwin Nunez.
In the second half, Inzaghi brought on Mutab Al-Harbi, Mohammed Kanno, Abdullah Al-Hamdan, and Ali Lajami.
Al-Hilal will meet its host, Al-Okhdood, next Tuesday, October 28, in the round of 16 of the King’s Cup.
