The first assistant coach of Al-Hilal's first football team, Farris Massimiliano, praised the performance delivered by the players in Al-Fateh match, saying: "The players delivered a high level performance against a team that is good at closing spaces, and we succeeded in scoring two goals, and the most important thing for us is achieving the win".
Regarding the technical preparations for the match, Massimiliano explained: "We studied Al-Fateh's strengths, especially in the transitions they are good at executing, and the team succeeded in dealing with them well", noting that the technical staff was keen to prepare and motivate the players to give their best after the last Asian match.
Regarding the absence of team captain Salem Al-Dawsari, Massimiliano explained that the player felt some pain yesterday, which made the technical staff prefer to rest him and not involve him in the match.
Massimiliano also addressed the fatigue that appeared on some players, saying: "It is natural for some fatigue to appear as a result of travel and the close scheduling of matches, especially since we played an Asian match a few days ago, while the opponent had eight days of rest".
He concluded his remarks by emphasizing the importance of continuing to work during the upcoming period, saying: "We are still at the top of the league, and we must double our efforts during the coming period to deliver better levels".
This came during the press conference held after Al-Hilal's match against its guest Al-Fateh, on Saturday evening, at Kingdom Arena in the capital Riyadh, as part of the 12th round of Saudi Roshn League.
