Italian head coach of Al-Hilal first football team Simone Inzaghi expressed his satisfaction with the victory over Al-Hazem. He praised the players' performance, stating: "I am happy with the win and the excellent show from the players, who maintained a high level of focus throughout the match. We created numerous scoring opportunities, though we were simply unlucky in converting them."

Inzaghi highlighted the importance of preparation for such encounters, acknowledging that the match was far from easy despite the team's persistent efforts to score. He noted that while missing chances can sometimes affect a team's focus, his players remained composed and delivered a strong performance from start to finish.

Looking ahead to the next fixture, he said: "We have an important match coming up against Al-Qadsiah a side with outstanding players and a capable coaching staff that has been performing well recently. We will prepare as effectively as possible to secure a win."

Regarding the players' physical condition; given the congested schedule of upcoming matches, Inzaghi expressed his satisfaction with their physical fitness and mental readiness. He pointed out that the team faces another challenge in four days, which will require an even higher level of preparation and conditioning.

These remarks were made during the post-match press conference following Al-Hilal’s game against Al-Hazem, played on Monday evening at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
