Al-Hilal loses to Al-Sadd on penalties

Al-Hilal first football team lost to Qatari side Al-Sadd on penalty shootouts after 3-3 draw in the match that took place on Monday evening at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah as part of the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Al-Hilal’s goals were scored by Sergej Savić, Salem Al-Dawsari, and Marcos Leonardo.

Coach Simone Inzaghi started the match with the following lineup: Yassine Bounou, Ali Lajami, Hassan Al-Tambakti, Theo Hernandez, Moteb Al-Harbi, Ruben Neves, Mohammed Kanno, Sergej Savic, Sultan Mandash, Salem Al-Dawsari, and Karim Benzema.

In the second half, Inzaghi gave the opportunity to Murad Al-Hawsawi, Nasser Al-Dawsari, Saimon Bouabre, Marcos Leonardo, Pablo Mari and Abdulkarim Darsi.
