The training session focused on recovery process for the players who started in yesterday’s match, held at the team’s residence. Meanwhile, the rest of the squad underwent fitness and technical drills, concluding with a small-sided practice match, managed by head coach Simone Inzaghi.

Additionally, initial medical examinations have revealed that player Gabriel Martinelli sustained a hamstring muscle injury during yesterday's match against Al-Qadsiah, and the player will undergo further examinations in the coming days, which will determine his treatment and rehabilitation program.

The team will depart for Qatar tomorrow Sunday morning and the squad will undergo an evening training session in preparation for their match against Qatar’s Al-Shamal this coming Tuesday, in the third round of the AFC Champions League Elite.
