The Board clarified that this statement has been issued specifically because the allegations were broadcast by Thmanyah, the official broadcaster of Saudi sports competitions. This places an even greater media and professional responsibility on the channel to ensure accuracy, verify information, and prevent its platforms from being used to circulate unreliable information or allegations that undermine the Club, its officials, and its personnel in a manner that misleads public opinion and damages the Club and its wider organization.
The Board expressed its confidence that Thmanyah’s management is committed to upholding the professional standards required by its responsibility as the official broadcaster of Saudi sport competitions, and that it will take the necessary action to address the content aired during the program and correct the false information presented.
The Board further noted that the Company’s relevant teams have documented several similar violations, offensive remarks, and allegations directed at the Club and its personnel across various platforms and media outlets over the past period. The absence of a public response does not mean that such incidents have been overlooked. The Company continues to document them, address them through the appropriate legal and regulatory channels, and take all necessary measures to safeguard the rights of the Club and its personnel.
