Al-Hilal beats Sharjah and continues on top of the Asian group

Al-Hilal first football team won 1-0 over their hosts Sharjah FC in a match held this evening, Monday, at Sharjah Stadium in Sharjah city of UAE, as part of the sixth round of the group stage of AFC Champions League Elite. Malcom scored Al-Hilal’s goal in the 81st minute of the match time.

Coach Simone Inzaghi started the match with the following lineup: Mohammed Al-Rubaie, Ali Lajami, Ali Al-Bulayhi, Yousef Akçiçek, Theo Hernandez, Joao Cancelo, Abdulilah Al-Malki, Ruben Neves, Malcom Oliveira, Marcos Leonardo, and Darwin Nunez.

In the second half, Inzaghi brought on Sergej Savic, Moteb Al-Harbi, Abdullah Radif, Kaio Cesar, and Mohammad Al-Qahtani.

With this result, Al-Hilal maintains its lead in the West Group of the tournament with 18 points from 6 matches, having scored 15 goals in the Champions League.

Al-Hilal will face Al-Khaleej in the next match on Friday, December 26, within the eleventh round of Roshn Saudi League.
