The signing ceremony took place this evening, Sunday, at the Kingdom Arena, in the presence of HH Prince Nawaf bin Saad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hilal Club Company, and Mr. Nadir bin Sami Al-Koraya, CEO of Riyad Bank, as Al-Hilal was represented by CEO Mr. Esteve Calzada, while Riyad Bank was represented by Mr. Omar Al-Saffaf, Chief of Retail Banking Officer, in the presence of several representatives from both parties.
Under the renewed partnership agreement, Riyad Bank logo will continue to appear on the upper back of the jerseys of the first football team, Al-Hilal women's football team, and Al-Hilal Academy teams. The agreement also grants Riyad Bank several commercial privileges, including special initiatives with Al-Hilal Foundation.
Since its inception in 2023, Al-Hilal's partnership with Riyad Bank has witnessed numerous successes and achievements across various sports, including the launch of new products, the six championships won by Al-Hilal's first football team, and several other accomplishments across sports games covered by the sponsorship, most notably the seven championships won by the first volleyball team.
Prince Nawaf bin Saad expressed his delight at renewing the partnership with Riyad Bank, stating, "We have enjoyed a successful partnership with Riyad Bank, and we are pleased to extend it today, adding another chapter to the success story we have achieved together since 2023." He added that the leadership of both Al-Hilal and Riyad Bank in their respective fields has strengthened the impact of their partnership, noting that both entities were founded in the same year and have since achieved exceptional success in their fields. He expressed his hope that this success will continue over the next five years, benefiting both parties.
For his part, Riyad Bank CEO, Mr. Nader bin Sami Al-Koraya, said: “We are proud to renew our partnership with Al-Hilal Club for five seasons, and we value the impact this relationship has had over the past years.” He explained that the partnership renewal comes at a time when the Saudi sports sector is witnessing rapid growth and transformation.
He added: “We see Al-Hilal as a strategic partner that shares our ambition to provide high-quality experiences for fans and customers, and to contribute to developing a more impactful and sustainable sports system.” He noted that renewing the partnership reflects Riyad Bank’s focus on building long-term strategic partnerships with influential entities in the economy and society, in line with the objectives of Riyad Bank’s 2030 strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
